I’m a father of four who worked as an enterprise software engineer for 15 years. I left a cushy, six-figure job in the corporate world because I wasn’t fulfilled. I left because of you.
You see, I’m passionate about technology and teaching. Helping you gives me a chance to combine these interests in a way that serves others. I help social entrepreneurs, bootstrappers, micropreneurs, solopreneurs, lifestyle business owners or whatever else a one-person business is called, to learn how to use technology to achieve their goals and vision.
Technology is incredibly powerful, but can also be confusing and overwhelming. I will work one-on-one with you by phone, email and on your computer to help you learn how to use your computer and software to help your business grow.
Most people I work with know what they want to do, but they don’t know how to do it. Or they tell me they don’t know what they don’t know, and would like to have someone to let them know what their options are. With my help, you can expand your business and achieve your vision without tearing your hair out. I will give you the confidence to do things with technology that seemed far beyond your abilities. I can also use my experience to point you in the right direction when you’re making decisions on which services to use.
How would it feel to have a patient, easygoing listener to hear what you’d like to achieve, then help you do it? I explain concepts simply, avoiding complicated jargon or tech-lingo. In short, I’m a guy you can ask tech questions without feeling belittled or guilty for not knowing the answer. We’re all at different stages of the continuum. Even after 15 years I have plenty to learn and technology is growing so fast, no one can be expected to know it all.
However, the foundational principles of technology aren’t changing. Once you understand those, learning about a new piece of software is no longer confusing. It fits into the larger picture of how computers and the internet work.
My goal is for you to become confident using technology and to learn how to use it effectively to save yourself time. I also want you to have fun. Technology is incredibly powerful, and the things you can do with it are increasing every year.
